Welcome to Faithful Wordsmiths

After more than eight years as DianaKolawole.site, it’s time to welcome a new chapter.

Today, I’m excited to introduce Faithful Wordsmiths.

If you’ve been part of this journey from the beginning, thank you. Whether you’ve read a poem, shared a blog post, left an encouraging comment, or simply visited from somewhere around the world, you’ve helped shape this community into what it is today.

Changing the name wasn’t a decision I made overnight. In fact, it has been something I’ve prayed about and reflected on for some time.

Why the Change?

When I first launched DianaKolawole.site, it was exactly what the name suggested—a personal website. It was a place to share my thoughts, poetry, and reflections on faith. I never imagined it would grow into a platform reaching readers in more than 100 countries.

As the years passed, something changed.

The website became more than a personal blog. It became a ministry through words. It became a place where stories were told, hope was shared, and Christ remained at the centre of every piece of content.

The name that once perfectly described the platform no longer captured the full vision of what it had become.

Why “Faithful Wordsmiths”?

Words are powerful.

They can build or break, encourage or discourage, teach or mislead. Throughout Scripture, we see the importance of words and the responsibility that comes with using them well.

A wordsmith is someone who carefully crafts words. But being a faithful wordsmith means something even deeper.

It means writing with integrity.

It means pursuing excellence.

It means remaining faithful to God’s truth while using creativity to communicate it.

It means recognising that every article, poem, devotional, or story is an opportunity to glorify God and serve others.

That is the heart behind this new name.

What Isn’t Changing

Although the name has changed, the mission hasn’t.

You’ll still find:

• Faith-filled blog posts
• Poetry that points to Christ
• Honest reflections on life and faith
• Encouragement for everyday living
• Resources designed to inspire hope and spiritual growth

Jesus remains at the centre of everything we write.

Our desire is still to encourage hearts, strengthen faith, and remind people that hope is found in Christ.

Looking Ahead

This rebrand is more than a new logo or website address.

It’s a renewed commitment to steward the gift of writing faithfully.

It’s about creating content that serves readers well, honours God, and continues to impact lives across the world.

My prayer is that Faithful Wordsmiths becomes a place where every visitor encounters words that encourage, challenge, and ultimately point them towards Jesus.
